What do the colours mean on the bill import review table?

Learn these four once and they hold on every tab of the review table.

• White means a draft. The system read it off the page, but no record has been created.
• Gray means it is already in your system. Name and date of birth matched exactly, so the row links to the record you already have. There is no Confirm button, because there is nothing to create.
• Yellow means close, but not certain. Something looks similar, say the same date of birth with a different spelling of the name, and the system hands the decision to you. Attaching a visit to the wrong person is a safety problem, so it refuses to guess. You choose Link to existing or Create new, and the row turns gray in front of you.
• A red chip means a required field was not on the paper. Confirm stays switched off until you fix it. A patient record with no date of birth is not safe to create, and a practice with no tax ID is not safe to bill under.

To fix a red chip, press Edit. The row opens up with the scanned page beside the fields, so you check the paper while you correct the record. Save, and Confirm comes to life.

Nothing exists until you press Confirm. Green means created, and not one moment sooner. Use Confirm selected to handle every ticked row at once. Anything not ready is skipped and counted, never silently created.
